What username and password is required?

The username and password are used for authentication with the Cisco IP phone. There are two ways that we would recommend for this setup.

You can create a user account for each person that will use the software in the Callmanager and associate the phone on their desk to their account.

Or you can create one user and associate all of the phones to that user.

The valid authentication with the phone is required for dialing, for call recording the username and password are not used.
